The monument of Stefam cel Mare in the center of the capital was defamed
The monument of Prince Stephen the Great and Saint in the center of the capital was vandalized. The statue was caught wearing a protective mask with the insignia of a political party, Moldova 1 reports.
This is the Home for Europe Party. The members of the party stated that they wanted to express their dissatisfaction with the policies adopted for the management of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Just a few hours after the protective mask was put on, on the monument of Stephen the Great and Saint, the mask was taken down by law enforcement.
Police are investigating the case.
