A thermo-scanner was installed st the Chisinau International Airport, and today, the second one will be installed, where each traveler is subjected to thermometry to identify people who are at risk for coronavirus infection. For the personal protection of the border guards, gloves, masks and disinfectant solutions for hands were sent to the border crossing points, the Border Police reports.

`The Border Police is the first filter for detection, notification, prevention and control of the possible  cases of infection with the symptoms of the disease of 'import' – Coronavirus. It has undertaken and will continue to implement all the necessary measures, within the competences, to exclude the risk of  the cross-border transmission of biological danger, with negative impact on public health ”, reads a statement issued by the Border Police.
