More families will benefit from firewood for the cold season

Socially disadvantaged people and families in the capital and suburbs will receive firewood aid from local public authorities. The beneficiaries of the mentioned facilities are the citizens whose houses are heated with wood. A provision in this regard was signed by the mayor general, Ion Ceban, informs Radio Moldova.

According to the mayor of the capital, wood will be provided to applicants within the available stocks accumulated at the Municipal Enterprise "Association for the management of green spaces", as a result of the execution of forestry works in the street alignment, within the infrastructure projects.

Citizens are called to apply to the territorial directorates for social assistance and to the town halls of cities, villages with a request in this regard.

The municipal authorities will ensure the transportation of firewood to the beneficiaries' homes, both within the city of Chisinau and in the suburbs, according to an approved schedule.
