Asphalting works, completed in 29 districts and two municipalities
In 29 districts and two municipalities, the repair works with asphalt concrete pavements within the “Good Roads for Moldova 2020” program were entirely completed.
The asphalting works were completely completed in the municipalities of Chisinau, Balti, Anenii Noi, Basarabeasca, Briceni, Cahul, Calarasi, Cantemir, Causeni, Criuleni, Donduseni, Dubasari, Drochia, Edinet, Falesti, Floresti, Glodeni I districts. , Ocnita, Orhei, Rezina, Riscani, Singerei, Soldanesti, Soroca, Stefan Voda, Straseni, Taraclia, Telenesti and Ungheni.
Thus, out of 298.7 km of road provided with asphalt concrete pavements, about 294 km of road were repaired, constituting an execution progress of over 98%.
According to the State Road Administration, at present, the repair works with asphalt concrete pavements continue on five sections in the districts of Cimişlia (a road sector in the town of Cimişlia), Leova (a road sector in the town of Leova), Nisporeni (a sector road from Ciuteşti village) and UTA Gagauzia (two road sections from the village of Chiriet-Lunga).
