Fire in a home in the capital: Two people arrived at the hospital
Five people were urgently evacuated from the inside of a house that was engulfed in flames last night on Petricani Street in Chisinau. Two people, evacuated from the affected room, a 54-year-old man and a 77-year-old woman were intoxicated with the combustion products, being transported to the hospital for further medical care.
According to the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations, the call to the 112 Service was registered at 23:57. Three rescue crews arrived at the scene as soon as possible and determined that the flames covered an old house.
The firefighters managed to locate the fire at about 00:39, thus avoiding its spread. After the fire, several material goods were burned inside the house, and the roof of the house was completely destroyed by flames.
The circumstances and cause of the fire will be determined later.
