Another doctor dies from complications caused by COVID-19
Another doctor from Moldova died today, November 29, following complications caused by COVID-19. It is about the neurologist Victor Munteanu, 60. He worked as head of the Neurology Department of SCM "Sfanta Treime". This was announced by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Social Protection (MSMPS).
“We regret to announce the death of the neurologist Victor Munteanu, 60, head of the Neurology Department of SCM "Sfanta Treime", an institution in which he worked with dedication and professionalism for 33 years. Mr. Munteanu was hospitalized on October 27 at SCM "Sfanta Treime", as he tested positive for COVID-19. We express our sincere condolences to the family, relatives and the entire staff of SCM "Sfanta Treime". God rest him in peace ", reads a press release of the quoted source.
To date, 55 healthcare workers have died from COVID-19 infection.
