Another doctor dies of COVID-19 virus
Another doctor from Moldova died today, November 28, following complications caused by COVID-19. This is Alexandra Crăciun, 67. She worked as a surgeon at the Soroca District Hospital, informs the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection.
"With deep regret, MSMPS announces the death of Mrs. Alexandra Crăciun, 67, who worked with professionalism and dedication as a surgeon, at the Soroca District Hospital. Mrs. Alexandra Crăciun was transferred on November 10, from Soroca District Hospital to the Institute of Emergency Medicine. We express our sincere condolences and compassion to the grieving family and colleagues. May God rest her in peace ", reads a press release of the quoted source.
To date, 54 healthcare workers have died from COVID-19 infection.
