COVID-19 in Moldova: Nine deaths and 195 new cases confirmed
Another 195 new cases of COVID-19 virus infection were confirmed today in the Republic of Moldova, one of which is imported from Cyprus. Also today, nine more people were killed by the virus.
According to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection, today, patients aged 47-76, residents of Chisinau and Comrat municipalities, Drochia, Orhei and Taraclia districts, died. The relevant ministry also announced this morning about another victim, aged 70, from Hincesti district. The number of deaths caused by Coronavirus has reached 624 in our country.
A total of 1,720 tests were performed today, of which primary - 1,176 and repeated - 544.
Of the total number of cases today, nine are healthcare workers: two doctors, seven nurses.
The number of people infected with the new Coronavirus has reached 18,666. To date, 11,936 people have been treated with COVID-19.
