COVID-19 in Moldova: Another 665 new cases of infection confirmed
In the last 24 hours, 2,776 tests were performed and 665 new cases of COVID-19 infection were confirmed. Of the total number of cases, six are imported from Turkey, Ukraine, Italy and the United Kingdom. According to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection, the balance of infections with the new Coronavirus reached 45,648 cases.
Of the total number of cases, 37 are health care workers: doctors - 14, nurses - 17, support staff - 6.
According to the quoted source, 578 patients are hospitalized in serious health condition, of which 36 are connected to assisted breathing.
Another 495 people were treated and discharged. In total, 33,734 people were cured of COVID-19.
MSMPS also informs about another 16 deaths caused by COVID-19. The death toll in Moldova reached 1,186.
