COVID-19 in Moldova: Another 21 deaths and 603 cases of infection

Another 603 new cases of COVID-19 infection were confirmed today in Moldova. Of the total number of cases, four are imported.

The total number of tests performed - 3,330, of which 1,696 are Rapid-Antigen tests.

The balance of COVID-19 cases in Moldova reached 241,820.

Of the total number of cases, six are healthcare workers: three-doctors, two-nurses, one person-auxiliary staff.

In all, 3,431 patients confirmed with COVID-19 infection are hospitalized in medical institutions, of which 303 are in an extremely serious health condition (47 patients are connected to assisted breathing).

Another 895 people were healed. In all, 223,822 people were treated.

As many 7,583 people with mild and moderate forms of COVID-19 get treatment at home, and 18,725 are under home supervision.

At the same time, the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection informs about another 21 deaths caused by COVID-19. In all, 5,409 people died.
