COVID-19 in Moldova: 1,728 cases of infection and another 19 deaths
Another 1,728 new cases of COVID-19 infection were confirmed today in the Republic of Moldova. Of the total number of cases, six cases are imported. The balance of COVID-19 cases in our country reached 115,557.
Total tests performed - 3,932, of which primary - 3,549 and repeated - 383.
Out of the total number of cases, 106 are medical workers: 33 doctors, 49 nurses, 24 auxiliary staff.
In total, within the hospital medical institutions, 3,725 patients confirmed with COVID-19 infection are hospitalized, out of which 269 in extremely serious condition (54 patients are connected to assisted breathing devices).
Another 1,330 people were healed. In total, 99,606 people were treated for COVID-19.
In home treatment with mild forms of COVID-19, there are 8,088 people, and 30,283 are under home supervision.
The Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection (MSMPS) announces the registration of another 19 deaths caused by COVID-19.
To date, 57 medical workers have died from COVID-19 infection. The total number of deaths reached 2,403.
