Competition Council takes note of rising prices for petroleum products
The Competition Council took note of rising oil prices and has issued a press release showing its concern that the increases occurred simultaneously at several oil companies, which raises doubts that they acted independently, reports Radio Moldova.
Thus, the Competition Council launched an investigation to determine whether there was a cartel agreement.
Also, in order to elucidate the case, the authority cooperates with other competent institutions. In this respect, the Competition Council is open to receiving any information that would elucidate the circumstances of the case, reads the press release.
