About 10,000 people have crossed the state border in the last 24 hours. According to the Border Police, on the way to enter the Republic of Moldova, there were 5,712 person crossings, of which 4,141 crossings at the Moldovan-Romanian border, 954 at the one with Ukraine and 617 air crossings.
According to the quoted source, the busiest border crossing points remain the one in Leuseni - 2,804 crossings, followed by Chişinău Airport - 617 and Giurgiuleşti-Galaţi - 528 crossings.
When crossing the state border, travelers are subjected to thermometry. At the same time, they complete the epidemiological files and are informed about the fines applied to the persons who do not comply with the prophylaxis measures instituted in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition, travelers will write on the back of the epidemiological file a statement on their own responsibility for compliance with the self-isolation regime for a period of 14 days in certain places.
