The famous children's writer, Spiridon Vangheli, is in serious condition at the hospital
The famous writer for children, the author of the character Guguţă, Spiridon Vangheli, is in serious condition at the hospital. According to the spokesperson, Marina Zibliuc, he is hospitalized at the Republican Clinical Hospital "Timofei Moşneaga", and according to some sources, the master is fighting with the new type of Coronavirus, reports Moldova 1.
Spiridon Vangheli was born on June 14, 1932 in the village of Grinăuţi, now Rîşcani district. His books have attracted readers from around the world, being translated into dozens of languages and published in 70 countries. These include: "Guguţă's feats", "Guguţă-ship captain", "Guguţă's father when he was little".
Over the years, Spiridon Vangheli has won numerous national and international awards, including the honorary title "Writer of the People of the Republic of Moldova" and the Order of the Republic.
