Farmers can claim compensation to cover damage caused by disasters
Farmers can apply for compensation to reduce the consequences of natural disasters this year. The Ministry of Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment announced that the Agency for Intervention and Payments for Agriculture will receive applications from August 10 to September 18, Moldova 1 reports.
Compensation is granted to farmers whose land has been compromised at the level of 60 percent and more according to the findings. These are cereal crops from the first group: winter wheat, autumn barley, autumn rape.
At the same time, losses are compensated in the case of fruit, nut, vine, open field vegetables and peas.
