Protest action in front of the Parliament building "We defend the vote and the will of the people" (VIDEO/LIVE)

Several people gathered in front of the Legislative for a protest action. They call on the deputies to withdraw several bills, to dissolve the Parliament and to hold early parliamentary elections.

UPDATE: 11:37 Igor Grosu, PAS deputy: “We are going to the Parliament and we will not allow them to vote anything Down Dodon! We enter the Parliament and block the rostrum so that no illegal bill is voted on ".

UPDATE: 11:23 In front of the crowd came President-elect Maia Sandu: "Thank you very much for being here today to defend our democracy, our vote, our right to a country without corruption, without poverty",  said Maia Sandu. The elected president accused the current government of the precarious situation in the economic and healthcare field, demanding the resignation of the Government: “Dodon's government must resign for incompetence, because it tolerates and promotes corruption schemes. The resignation of the Government and early parliamentary elections! ”.

UPDATE: 10:37 Angela Munteanu Pojoga, PAS municipal councilor: “Dodon regime is trying to steal our vote, to cancel the election results, he ignores the opinion of the people. We're here to tell them we're not giving up. We want to live in a state of law, where justice is a priority. Down with the PSRM-Dodon alliance ”!

UPDATE: 10:06 People chant, "We are the people," "Justice for the people," "Leave the power," "Down with corruption," "Down with Parliament," "Early parliamentary elections" "Down with the Mafia," Down with the Thieves”.

"What they want to commit is a crime against people, young people, old people. They want to increase taxes, they don't offer anything for farmers ", one of the protesters declared in front of the crowd.

The demonstrators are asking the legislators to withdraw from the agenda the draft laws on the budgetary-fiscal policy for next year, the draft law on the State Budget for 2021, as well as the PSRM initiative that provides for passing the SIS under parliamentary control.

Referring to this protest, Prime Minister Ion Chicu urged the protesters to wear masks and pointed that their health is more important.

"The idols we make today have stood like lambs and kept quiet, when in government meetings in 2013-2014 it was decided to steal the billion or to give up the airport" in Khabarovsk ". Did they call us to protest then? Did they then listen to the Ambassador, who urged us to take to the streets to show that we were human? Take masks, people. And open your eyes wide. I recommend that the deputies now focus on examining budget-fiscal projects. I ask both presidents to show maximum responsibility towards the people and to give up actions that endanger people's lives and health ", the prime minister wrote on his Facebook page.

We remind you that yesterday, in a press conference, the president-elect Maia Sandu declared that removing the SIS from the subordination of the president is an attempt to usurp power in the state. The PAS leader called on people to go to the protest today to defend their vote.
