New spot for promoting domestic tourism launched
A new spot for promoting domestic tourism has been launched. The Rediscover Moldova Community has immortalized several picturesque destinations in our country to motivate Moldovans to travel more. The video contains video from the visit to Hâncu Monastery, Lăpuşna locality, Hînceşti town and Mereşeni village, Mesager reports.
The creators of the project went to several tourist destinations in Moldova. They passed by the Hâncu monastery, and in Hânceşti they visited the village of Lăpuşna, the Manuc-Bei mansion and a steam mill.
"We have a very well developed location, we have very interesting places like Manuc-Bei mansion, many other historical places and monuments. We are a well-placed area with orchards, vineyards and at the same time we are surrounded by Moldovan woods", said Alexandru Botnari, the mayor of Hânceşti.
"We obtained a cross-border project, the development of cross-border tourism by promoting the Manuc-Bei mansion and after three years of construction and restoration, the complex was revitalized and is open to tourists”, said Tudor Placinta, head of the Culture and Tourism department.
The initiative to promote domestic tourism includes a series of competitions and a campaign to promote pensions in the country.
"The main goal of the" Rediscover Moldova "project is to inform future tourists about the known and less-known places in Moldova," said Iulian Bercu, project coordinator.
The campaign to promote domestic tourism "Rediscover Moldova" will run until the end of September.
