The situation in Dubasari district, under discussion at the Presidency
The ferry floating across the Dniester does not cope with the flow of car transport and, consequently, people have to stand in line and wait at night. This was announced by the president of Dubasari district, Grigore Filipov, during a meeting at the Presidency, reports Moldova 1.
According to him, the villages of Molovata Nouă, Vasilievca, Cocieri and Roghi, located on the left bank of the Dniester, were practically broken off from the rest of the territory of the Republic of Moldova, after Tiraspol established a state of emergency.
President Igor Dodon has said he will discuss possible solutions with Tiraspol, after Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Cristina Lesnic also announced that all requests for dialogue had been rejected and that the movement of people, including for Chisinau authorities, was restricted.
