Ocnita: A cold store was engulfed in flames

The employees of the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations from the north of the country intervened to put out a fire in Bârlădeni locality from Ocniţa district. According to the press officer of the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations, Liliana Puşcaşu, no one suffered.

The call to 112 was received on the afternoon of June 1, at 13:51. According to preliminary information, the fire broke out in a refrigerated building.

Arriving at the scene, firefighters determined that the fire covered an area of about 3,000 square meters of a refrigeration system, and its roof collapsed.

Five intervention crews were sent to the scene to eliminate the fire. Firefighters located the burn at 3:16 p.m., without letting it to spread.

The circumstances and cause of the fire are to be determined after the fire will be extinguished.
