People informed by rescuers about the measures against COVID-19

People from 16 localities in Moldova were informed by rescuers about the observance of the protection rules against COVID-19.

According to the data of the General Inspectorate for Emergencies (IGSU), prevention activities were carried out recently in localities from Cimişlia, Edinet, Floresti, Soroca and Ocnita districts.

Rescuers broadcast sound warning messages to citizens, urging them to wear protective masks indoors, including in public transportation, shopping malls, pharmacies and institutions. People received information leaflets with the list of necessary protection rules and were asked to wash their hands as often as possible, to cover their nose and mouth when sneezing. At the same time, it is recommended that people avoid crowds and keep a social distance of at least one meter.

Such measures are constantly undertaken by IGSU in all districts of Moldova in the campaign launched by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection with the slogan "Beware, stop the spread of COVID-19, save lives", aiming to prevent the spread of the Coronovirus pandemic in Moldova.
