Several ambassadors accredited to Moldova harvested grapes in UTA Gagauzia

Several ambassadors accredited to Moldova admired and tasted the harvest of a vineyard in the south of Moldova. After they gathered the fruit, the guests were invited to crush and squeeze the grapes. In the end, everyone was served fresh grape juice, Moldova 1 reports.

It has already become a tradition for foreign diplomats accredited to the Republic of Moldova to come to the grape harvest festival every year. This time, the celebration was organized on one of the plantations near Comrat. The guests were greeted by the mayor of autonomy, Irina Vlah.

"To see the beauty of Gagauzia, you must come here, visit the vineyards and enjoy the grape harvest with us", said Irina Vlah.

Representatives of diplomatic missions were surprised by the beauty and traditions of Moldova.

"I am on this holiday for the first time. It is very interesting, we like it very much, extraordinary, a lot of sun, many guests, an extraordinary celebration ", said Anatoli Kalinin, the ambassador of the Republic of Belarus in Moldova.

"We have great emotions, it's a special holiday. This year, the grape harvest is rich ", said Roman Romanov, counselor of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Moldova.

"It's very beautiful, we are in middle of nature, I felt good. This activity has created a state of well-being for us ", said Angel Merenco, the ambassador of Bulgaria in Moldova.

Guests respected the rules of protection against the new type of Coronavirus, by wearing masks and gloves.
