Domulgeni village hosts a new edition of the Traditional Festival "White Sunday"

Today in Domulgeni (Floresti) is held the Tradition Festival "White Sunday". The event is at the ninth edition, Radio Moldova reports.

"At the entrance of the village, guests are expected by the children's guides, who guide through the village to several tourist attractions to be launched on the touristic route. A good and beautiful world gathers, over 20 bands in the north of the country, especially Floreşti district, many popular craftsmen, a peasant farm with various traditional dishes, tables decorated for Sunday, baptism, wedding and other important events in human life. It will also be a ritual show, the generic being "From Easter to Pentecost", but also a surprise on Family Day. In the evening, there will be a gala concert with outstanding personalities from Romania," said Svetlana Lazar, President of the National Association of Rural, Ecological and Cultural Tourism.

Since 2016, Domulgeni is registered on the international heritage tourist route "The Tree of Life decorated with ritual bread and church wine", a route developed by the National Association of Rural, Ecological and Cultural Tourism of the Republic of Moldova.

The White Sunday celebrated in Domulgeni is already a business card not only for the northern part of Moldova but also for the entire republic. Hundreds of people, every year, participate in the most picturesque place of the village, the bank of the river Raut, at the festival organized on the occasion of Pentecost.
