Residential building in Causeni catches fire
A fire broke out in a residential block in Causeni town. The firefighters evacuated the tenants from the block to prevent their intoxication.
The call to the 112 Service was received at 15:10 on Saturday afternoon. According to the first information, the fire started from an apartment on the second floor of the block.
Two crews came to the scene, which established that following the fire the stairs of the block were full of smoke. Rescuers evacuated a 72-year-old woman with disabilities who was unable to get out.
As a result of the burning, the material goods in the apartment were affected.
According to the experts, the cause of the fire is the non-observance of the fire rules when using household appliances. In the intervention process, the firefighters found an iron connected to power.
All the circumstances of the case are to be determined. According to IGSU data, rescuers and firefighters intervened in 57 risk situations in the last 24 hours.
