Smoke detectors, installed in over 130 houses

Smoke and toxic gas detectors were installed in over 130 houses in 13 settlements in Moldova. Most beneficiaries are from the districts of Edinet, Cahul, Briceni, Causeni, Telenesti, Chisinau municipality, but also the Gagauz autonomy, Radio Moldova reports.

Also, the rescuers trained over two thousand people on fire defense rules.

Also, together with the officials from the local public administration, nearly 500 detectors from over 40 settlements were installed last year.

The detectors are installed for free for families with many children, elderly people, bed-ridden people under the campaign "A protected house, a saved life".
