Five settlements in Ocnita quarantined
Ocnita is under a red alert code regarding the epidemic situation in COVID-19 infection. Thus, starting with today, five localities in the district close schools, kindergartens and markets. A decision in this regard was taken yesterday by the Extraordinary Public Health Commission in Ocnita, Moldova 1 TV reports.
Measures are imposed for 14 days, with the possibility of review depending on the local epidemic situation. Exceptions to the restriction are healthcare centers and family doctors' offices, grocery stores and pharmacies.
At the same time, the lessons in schools will be conducted remotely.
Moreover, the Therapy Department of the Ocnita District Hospital is re-profiled in the COVID-19 department.
At the same time, the activity of urban transport in the town remains suspended until March 4.
So far, 1,364 positive cases of COVID-19 have been registered in the localities from Ocnita district.
