Why do not the young people vote? We find out with RMT
On April 16, Radio Moldova Youth (TMR) organized, in partnership with the Friedrich Ebert Foundation, a public talk show in Balti. During the debate entitled "Vote without boycott", they were discussed topics related to the participation of young people in the electoral process, introduction of compulsory vote, electoral education and electoral programs that (not) target young people.
The talk show featured experts, students from the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences, volunteers and representatives of local NGOs. Special guests of the event were Ion Ciobanu - Regional Promo-LEX coordinator and Vladimir Rusu, dean of the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences of the State University "Alecu Russo" from Bălţi.
Why do not the young people vote? And if young people are a priority for electoral candidates? - tried to find TMR journalists, along with talk-show participants. Details of this event are available from Friday, April 26th, of the "Blues vs. Ties" show.
