President's message: "I express my feelings of admiration and gratitude for your work, selflessness and devotion."

The President of the Republic of Moldova, Igor Dodon, wishes "a lot of health and creative vigor" to the journalists from Radio Moldova. On the occasion of the 90th anniversary of its founding, the country's president addressed a message to all those working for the national station "Radio Moldova".

Dear members of the Radio Moldova community,

It is my pleasure to extend my warmest congratulations to you on the occasion of celebrating nine decades since the founding of our first radio station and to express to you feelings of admiration and gratitude for your work, selflessness and devotion.

90 years ago, in the homes of Moldovans, a high-performance, innovative source of information entered. Certainly, in our country, there are people who remember this important event. Time has passed, and technological development has today reached speeds unimaginable at that time. Today, the world is a click away, but the role of radio in this dizzying evolution is undeniable.

Whole generations of reporters and editors, directors and announcers, operators and engineers have created their destiny and lived it beautifully and with dignity on Radio Moldova. Along with writers and men of culture, the employees of the national radio station were in the midst of the events of the national renaissance. The melodious voices in the modest boxes folded into the souls of our citizens and remained unmistakable through the joyful news.

Important for the state of the Republic of Moldova is the fact that your institution has in its custody a true national treasure - the largest radio sound library, which is to be carefully preserved and capitalized creatively, in the name of truth and justice.

On the anniversary hour, I wish you good health and creative vigor, a lot of inspiration to be competitive on the media market in our country and to bring to the people as much good news as possible.
