The Prime Minister's message: "Health, inspiration, creativity and as many loyal listeners as possible"

"Good health, inspiration, creativity and as many loyal listeners as possible" - wishes the Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova, Ion Chicu, to journalists, editors, artists, engineers and all those who through passion and responsibility form the coat of arms of the first post radio in the country.

"During his career, he was not only the devoted friend of the listeners, but he lived all the events of their lives together. Hundreds of professionals have worked day and night to get equidistant information to the general public. Economic, social, political, cultural and sporting events have all passed through the radio's chronology over the past nine decades. I take this opportunity to congratulate all the employees of the longest-lived media institution in the country and to wish them good health, inspiration, creativity and as many loyal listeners as possible. Happy birthday, Radio Moldova!” reads the prime minister's message.

The history of Radio Moldova began on October 30, 1930, with the transmission of a divine service from the Metropolitan Cathedral of Chisinau. Radio Moldova has written history over time through news, reports, interviews, so that today we have a true cultural and spiritual heritage played by the chroniclers of the times. The first recording was made in 1949 and since then Radio Moldova has gathered a rich archive, through which it has promoted the values of national and universal culture. It would take 44 years to listen to the entire Golden Sound Library of the public radio station.
