Three candidates admitted to the public competition for the position of director of the ANRE Board of Directors

Three out of eight candidates were admitted to the public competition for the position of director of the Board of the National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE). These are: Lilian Barcaru, Tudor Branişte and Violina Şpac. The decision was adopted today by the Parliament's Committee on Economy, Budget and Finance.

The three nominated candidates will be invited to the interview before the Commission on December 24th. After the Commission assesses the candidates, the winner with the highest score will be proposed to be voted by the Parliament.

Candidates for the position of Director of ANRE must have higher education in the technical, economic, financial or legal field and work experience of at least 10 years in one of the mentioned fields, of which at least 3 years in management positions in public institutions or enterprises from the sectors regulated by ANRE. Also, the candidates must enjoy an impeccable reputation, shall know the state language and the English language and not be members of any political party when submitting the application to participate in the contest.
