Cross talking between Prime Minister Ion Chicu and PAS leader Maia Sandu following the tragic explosion in Lebanon. While the opposition representative claims that our state registered the ship that illegally transported the toxic substance in exchange for bribes and favors, the prime minister says that this procedure happened in 2012, when Sandu held public office and accused her of hypocrisy, Mesager reports.

In a post on a social network, Maia Sandu writes that the ship was registered under the Moldovan flag in exchange for bribes and favors. According to the politician, the Republic of Moldova has been blacklisted for many years due to the fact that it registers ships carrying out illegal activities. She says she will ask PAS MPs to take all necessary steps to find out how it was possible to register such a ship under the Moldovan flag.

"Corruption kills. Not only here, in Moldova, but also in other parts of the world ", concluded Maia Sandu.

The Prime Minister Ion Chicu claims that the Rhosus Ship was registered in the State Ship Registry on February 24, 2012 "during the success story, also written by this lady".

According to Chicu, the ship has not been under the state flag of the Republic of Moldova since the beginning of 2014, after it was forcibly removed from the State Ship Registry of the Republic of Moldova.
