Incumbent president Igor Dodon reacts to the events in the Parliament

Incumbent President Igor Dodon regrets that political change does not mean order and more efficiency in government, but the challenge of instability, chaos and further promotion of hatred. He wrote about it in a message on a social network, Mesager reports.

 "A show of instability, chaos and hatred was demonstrated today in Parliament by right-wing factions. I notice that some people can not get out of the emotions of the election campaign and I am sorry that, instead of demonstrating high level of  education, some so-called "good people" behaved violently and brazenly in the rostrum of the country's most important political forum - they shouted, they splashed water, they hit, they blocked the ministers' report, they broke microphones ", the incumbent president wrote.

The official urged the opposition deputies to assume a new Government, if they are not satisfied with the Cabinet of Ministers led by Ion Chicu.

On the other hand, the elected president, Maia Sandu, wrote on Facebook that the majority of PSRM-Şor trampled on the people's vote on November 15, because instead of dealing with the management of the pandemic and agricultural crisis, it has the mission to reduce the attributions President.

It should be mentioned that on December 3, 2020, the Parliament of Chisinau met in plenary session at 10:00. The parliamentary opposition has repeatedly blocked Parliament's presidency to prevent the adoption of several projects. Despite the chaos in the Parliament, the deputies from the PSRM faction and those from the Pentru Moldova platform voted on several projects, including the transfer of the SIS to the Parliament and the draft on fiscal  and budgetary policy for 2021. The deputies voted in the first reading  the abrogation the decision by which the land of the Republican Stadium was transferred for the construction of the US embassy. Also in the first reading were voted the draft laws that provide a special legal status for UTA Gagauzia. These were not presented by the authors and were not debated.
