PSRM set the priorities for the autumn-winter session of the Parliament

Supporting social projects, supporting the economy, especially agriculture, efficient management of the pandemic situation, ensuring a democratic, transparent and fair electoral process. These are the priorities of the faction of the Party of Socialists of Moldova (PSRM) in the autumn-winter session of the Parliament, established during a working session, to which President Igor Dodon was also invited, reports Moldova 1.

The PSRM faction has decided, among other things, that it will support the agricultural package, which comes to help farmers affected by the drought. It provides for the subsidy of interest on loans obtained by farmers, the subsidy from the VAT account of the land tax, but also the proposal to introduce a moratorium on fiscal controls on farmers by the end of this year.

The PSRM faction also stated that they will vote for the Chicu Government's project to increase the budget for education by 140 million lei.

The Socialists also addressed the issue of the presidential elections this fall and stressed the importance of ensuring a fair, freely expressed process with maximum transparency.
