Prosecutor General Alexandr Stoianoglo will be heard in Parliament

Prosecutor General Alexandr Stoianoglo will be heard in parliament next week in the case of the theft of the billion. The proposal, submitted by the Dignity and Truth Platform, was unanimously supported by the Moldovan MPs.

"The theft of the billion already arouses great disgust, especially after the last interventions of a character named Veaceslav Platon. People don't already understand who the attorney general is. It has been more than a year since Mr. Stoianoglo is attorney general and no case has been sent to court. We may need to be honored by the Attorney General or the Deputy Attorney General. We understand that we cannot force him, but we kindly ask him to present us how things are, not to document ourselves from Veaceslav Platon about the situation," declared the vice-president of the Parliament Alexandru Slusari.

"We have repeatedly heard the Deputy Attorney General. We don't know what else to do. We can also invite the Attorney General on the platform of the National Security Commission and listen to the latest information in this case," proposed the president of the National Security Commission, Alexandru Jizdan.

"If we want to take a written approach, it is for next week," said Parliament Speaker Zinaida Greceanii.

The proposal of the Vice President of the Parliament, Alexandru Slusari, was unanimously supported by the plenary.
