The DA Platform calls for an increase in the farmers' subsidy fund
Increasing the subsidy fund by 400 million lei, extending the VAT refund program until September 30, 2021 the moratorium on state controls until September 30, 2021 - this is what the vice president of the DA Platform, Alexandru Slusari, demands to support farmers in the country, affected by drought.
"The situation with the second group, corn, sunflower, sugar beet, is even worse than that of the first group cereals. Farmers are desperate because they are left alone in front of creditors, the need to cultivate and sow the soil with autumn crops, the impossibility to pay rent payments, etc. First, small and medium farmers suffer. We are now talking about stringent measures to save the branch, to save farmers from the villages. We insist on these changes. I call on all deputies to take timely measures to save the branch," says Alexandr Slusari.
The amendments were registered and tabled in the Parliamentary Committee on Economy, Budget and Finance.
