PAS sets Local Election League
More financial resources, transparency and freedom - this is what many local elected representatives of the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS) have called for today. They met to discuss several political, economic and organizational issues. Attending the Congress establishing the PAS Local Election League was Maia Sandu and representatives of the National Liberal Party of Romania, reports Mesager.
"We believe that things can be improved if the local public administration is truly autonomous, especially when it comes to financing, so that it has the necessary resources, can fulfill the promises made to the electorate and does not depend on the central power , is not harassed by the central power through these financial resources and obviously it ensures true independence without criminal records without all kinds of pressures and other nasty methods ”, said the leader of PAS Maia Sandu.
Following the local elections, PAS obtained the citizens' vote of confidence for 120 mayors, for several district and local councilors.
