Tomorrow, the deputies meet in the sitting

Tomorrow, the deputies meet in session. The agenda includes several appointments. It is about the five new directors at the National Agency for Energy Regulation (ANRE) and the general director of the National Agency for Solving Complaints, as well as the appointment of a new President of the Court of Accounts, reports Moldova 1.

Also, Parliament will note the resignation of some deputies and adopt the organizational structure and staff limit of the Competition Council.

Deputies are also expected to vote in the first reading and some social projects. It is about granting a one-time financial aid of 600 lei to pensioners with a pension of up to 2 thousand lei and the bill on social benefits for children, which provides for the allocation of 200 lei per month to all children in the country until the age of 18 years old.

"It will probably be the first and last session of this session, considering that we are in the middle of the electoral campaign and it is preferable not to give this platform for electoral debates in Parliament. We will try very succinctly and strictly tomorrow, according to Parliament's Rules of Procedure, to examine the topics proposed for the agenda. We are talking about a few drafts of social-law laws; we mean a few appointments to institutions based on contests by some parliamentary committees," said Parliament Speaker Adrian Candu.

According to Parliament's Rules of Procedure, the Legislature meets in two ordinary sessions per year.
