Igor Dodon: Ion Ceban is the Socialists’ candidate for Chisinau mayor
Ion Ceban is the Socialists’ candidate for Chisinau mayor in the lectiosn dated October 20. This was announced by the president Igor Dodon, informal leader of PSRM in a show on Moldova 1 TV.
Igor Dodon said that the decision had been taken and would be approved during the next PSRM National Council on August 30.
Igor Dodon claims that Ion Ceban is the most prepared candidate, because he has been a member of the Chisinau Municipal Council for the last four years.
According to the head of state, PSRM will start the campaign by signing a non-aggression agreement with the ACUM candidate.
Moreover, Igor Dodon added that the PSRM-ACUM political agreement is 70% ready and will be signed next week, Moldova 1 TV reports.
