Moldovan president Igor Dodon meets Head of OSCE Mission Claus Neukirch
President Igor Dodon has had a working meeting with Head of the OSCE Mission in Moldova Claus Neukirch. The officials tackled more subjects on the Transnistrian conflict settlement process. In particular, the sides discussed a meeting of the participants in the five-plus-two negotiations, scheduled for next October in Chisinau, Mesager reports.
- the officials considered prospects for the carrying out of the “small steps tactic” and measures to build confidence between the two banks of Nistru till late 2019.
Also, Claus Neukirch proposed assistance for the OSCE carrying out expertises for assessing the technical state of the depots with ammunitions in the Colbasna village from the Transnistrian region, taking into account the Organization’s experience in this respect.
