Poll: If elections were held next Sunday, a party and a political bloc would join the Legislative
Seven out of ten Moldovans positively appreciate the set up of a coalition between the Party of Socialists of Moldova (PSRM) and the Bloc ACUM. These are the results of a poll conducted by the Association of Sociologists and Demographers. According to the poll, if parliamentary elections were held next Sunday, only a party and a political bloc would join the Legislative, Mesager reports.
According to the poll, over 71% of respondents appreciate the set up of a temporary technical coalition between ACUM and PSRM, almost 11% - negative, and 17.6% - abstained.
The sociological poll shows that President Igor Dodon enjoys the highest trust from citizens, with a score of 24.5%. Dodon is followed by Prime Minister Maia Sandu with15.8% , Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Năstase with 13.6% and the Parliament Speaker Zinaida Greceanii with 5.1% of the respondents. Over 4% of people trust Irina Vlah.
If parliamentary elections were held next Sunday, PSRM would gain 30.7% of votes, the bloc ACUM - 23.4% and the Democratic Party of Moldova - 5.2%. About 3.4% of the respondents would vote for the Political Party Shor, and the Party of Communists would gain 2.3% of the votes.
The poll was conducted between June 11-22 by the Association of Sociologists and Demographers of the Republic of Moldova on a sample of 1,200 people. The margin of error is +- 3%.
