Discussions regarding the settlement of the Transnistrian conflict in the "5 + 2" format to be resumed next year
Discussions regarding the settlement of the Transnistrian conflict in the "5 + 2" format could be resumed next year. This was discussed at the meeting of the Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration, Vasili Sova with the special representative of the Russian Federation, Serghei Gubarev, reports Moldova 1 TV.
The agenda for future negotiations could also include the draft of a model of special legal status for the Transnistrian region, by respecting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Moldova.
The officials also examined the dynamics of the discussions between the political representatives of Chisinau and Tiraspol, as well as the level of implementing previous agreements.
