Hearings in Parliament regarding the privatization of "Air Moldova"
Parliamentary hearings are being held on the privatization of the company "Air Moldova" and the concession of the "Gărilor şi Staţiilor Auto". Ex-Prime Minister Pavel Filip, former Economy Minister Chiril Gaburici; ex-secretary of state of the Ministry of Justice, Nicolae Esanu, as well as the director of Blue Air Oana Petrescu are expected to attend the hearings, Radio Moldova reports.
The former Minister of Economy Chiril Gaburici was the first who was questioned by the members of the commission of inquiry for analysis of organisation and conduct of privatisation and concession of public property. He said that the privatization of "Air Moldova" was not his direct responsibility.
We remind that the Government repealed four decisions regarding the concession of the Chisinau International Airport.
The concession agreement of Chisinau Airport was signed on August 30, 2013, between the Public Property Agency and the company Avia Invest, that was founded on August 2, 2013.
