The Grand Slam winner in Paris, Denis Vieru, is the guest of the "Sports Week"

The first resounding success of the young judokan came in Tel Aviv in 2016 when he triumphed at the European Championship for under-23s. Later, the young man won the silver and bronze medals at the Grand Prix in Antalya and Budapest respectively. We are talking about Denis Vieru, who is the guest of the "Sports Week" show on Moldova 1, Monday, February 18th.

After a long training session in the gym, the 22-year-old judo player has recently won the "gold" of up to 66-kg category at one of the most prestigious international Grand Slam tournaments in Paris, this result propelled him to the 6th place in the world ranking of the pretenders to obtain the accreditation ticket at the Tokyo Olympic Games (2020).
