Temperatures have exceeded 50℃ in a city in India

Temperatures have exceeded 50℃ for the second time in three days in a northern Indian city that had been affected by a wave of extreme heat for several days, informs Agerpres.ro

For several days, certain cities in the north of the country struggle with a dry heat wave with temperatures often soaring to 47℃.

The extreme heat wave will continue today in Rajasthan and neighboring Madhya Pradesh, according to Indian meteorological services.

In the capital of New Delhi, temperatures have fallen to about 40℃, but residents continue to suffer from implacable heat.

The annual Monsoon, which brings heavy rain on the Indian subcontinent, has a week-long delay from its usual calendar, and is expected to hit the southern part of India only on June 6.

According to the El Dorado meteorological site on Monday, among the 15 hottest places on the planet in the last 24 hours, 11 were in India and 4 in neighboring Pakistan, reports Agerpres.
