Romania: Dozens of localities affected by heavy rains and strong winds
More than 25 localities in 11 counties in Romania, including the Bucharest capital, have been affected by heavy rains and strong winds in the last 24 hours, reports Moldova 1.
Firefighters intervened and discharged water from dozens of dwellings, basements, courtyards and annexes. In Prahova, a few pylons of electricity collapsed, and tens of trees were plucked from the root.
At the same time, several cars were damaged. Problems were also on the roads, traffic has been hampered by trees that have fallen on the road or alluviums.
Because of the wind that crashed the branches of a tree, three people in Bucharest needed medical assistance.
