Romania: Over eight thousand new cases of COVID-19, registered in 24 hours

In the last 24 hours there were 8,134 new cases of COVID-19. In all, 33,021 tests performed. Another 161 Romanians died after being infected with coronavirus. 1,249 COVID patients are hospitalized at ATI, the highest number of patients with severe coronavirus to date, writes digi24.ro.

To date, on November 28, in Romania, 465,982 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus (COVID - 19) have been confirmed. 335,764 patients were declared cured. Following the tests performed at national level, compared to the last report, 8,134 new cases of people infected with SARS - CoV - 2 (COVID - 19) were registered, these being cases that had not previously had a positive test.

To date, 11,045 people diagnosed with SARS - CoV - 2 infection have died.
