Rain also raged in Tismana, Gorj county. The tight water on the slopes has made the river passing through the village to get out of its sockets and to flood the courtyards of the people. The police station in the village was flooded, and three police officers remained in the middle of the water.

The situation is also critical in central and western Serbia where strong floods have occurred. The overflowing waters covered the roads, entered the houses of the people and destroyed their bridges.

"The rain lasted only 45 minutes, a torrent formed that swept everything in the way," people say.

According to meteorologists, in the following days, rains will decrease in intensity.
