Over 19 million cases of COVID-19 infection worldwide

More than 19 million cases of infection have been reported worldwide, including one million in four days, according to a report by France Presse from official sources. In all, about 712,500 deaths were recorded, of which more than 160,000 died in the United States. Europe remains the most affected by the pandemic: the number of COVID-19 victims exceeds 212,000, Moldova 1 reports.

Spain closes cities again. Authorities in Aranda de Duero, with a population of over 33,000, see no other way to stop the spread of Coronavirus than by strict quarantine. A few days ago, 230 cases of disease were registered here.

The decision of the Government to close Aranda de Duero from August 7 until the epidemic will decrease was also approved by the court. People can leave the city only for business interests, or to be consulted by a doctor.

"This is not the second wave, it is not so bad, but we must be vigilant and follow the rules so that the epidemic does not get out of control," said then Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte.

Polish authorities are introducing the mask regime in 19 regions of the country, where there has been the largest increase in the number of people infected with Coronavirus. All areas will be divided into three: red, yellow and green, depending on the number of infected. In the red zone, the restrictions will be the most severe.

Meanwhile, the drug for Coronavirus "Leitragin" is patented in Russia. The announcement was made by the Federal Medical and Biological Agency, noting that, according to research, the most effective way to use the new dosage form is inhalation.
