Three dead following the explosion in Madrid
At least three people died and 11 were injured in a powerful explosion in Madrid, which caused the partial collapse of a building, writes ştirileprotv.ro.
According to the first data, the cause of the explosion was a gas leak.
The affected building is next to a nursing home and a school. At that time, the educational institution was closed.
However, the intervention teams had to evacuate the people from the block and put out the fire that broke out in the building.
The blast took place on Wednesday and completely affected the facade of a residential building, just a few kilometers from Madrid's Puerta del Sol.
