An outbreak of Coronavirus has been reported at a slaughterhouse in Belgium, and Romanians are among the sick. 225 employees of the meat processing factory have been tested so far, and 67 of them are infected with the new Coronavirus, writes digi24.ro.
14 workers are Romanians, but it is not yet known for sure because the legislation on personal data protection prevents official identification.
As a result, the Belgian company has decided to test all 850 employees, and the results are expected later this week.
The company stated that all Romanian workers are residents of Belgium, not seasonal workers.
