Two new confirmed cases of coronavirus in Romania
Romanian authorities confirmed two new cases of coronavirus. This is a man from Maramures and a woman from Timisoara. The two people returned to the country from Italy, writes digi24.ro.
The Secretary of State of the Ministry of Health, Nelu Tataru and the Secretary of State of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Raed Arafat, announced the two new cases in a press conference.
According to the Secretary of State of the Ministry of Health, a case was registered in a 45-year-old man from Maramures, another case - in a 38-year-old woman from Timisoara.
The first case of coronavirus in Romania was confirmed on Wednesday evening, at a 25-year-old, who came in contact with the 71-year-old Italian, confirmed, by the Italian authorities, with this disease. In Gorj, where the first case of coronavirus infection was confirmed, epidemiological investigations continue.
